A Conversation About Instagram Influencer Marketing for Small Businesses
Hey pals!
I did my first podcast interview! It’s with the always-awesome Dylan Hey and you can listen to it here: www.dylanhey.com/podcast
We talk about a bunch of stuff I’ve learned about influencer marketing over the past couple of years, as well as some hopefully helpful tips on how to do it effectively if you’re a small business.
For those of you who don’t know, over the past year and a half, I’ve been spending a whole lotta time researching how we’re influenced on Instagram, especially regarding people who are considered “influencers” on the platform.
Who are they? What makes one account more influential than another? Why do they influence others? How do people find them? How do people decide how to pay them? Are they worth the amounts they are paid? How can entrepreneurs use this information to build better businesses?
I find this topic super interesting. Not only because I’ve seen how influencer marketing can have a very positive impact on a business like Depop, but also because it has allowed me to make a living from doing things that I love through Pinlord.
Whether we want to admit it or not, a lot of us do, say and buy things because we see other people on Instagram do it too. We should want to understand why. It’s something that will be more and more important in the future.
If you have any questions about the topic or are interested in learning more, please get in touch or comment. There’s a lot of information we didn’t have time to touch on.
Hope it helps :)
