I’m pretty certain that these people, and the most highly engaged people in general, don’t use pods as often. Most of these accounts don’t monetize and don’t want to be “content creators”, they are just really talented at posting about things their audience LOVES. When it comes to pods, there tends to be certain commonalities in terms of the comments that can indicate when someone is using pods. I’ve also noticed that Instagram is developing technology that can better recognize when it’s a pod engagement or a real engagement. Im pretty sure pods will be less and less effective to hack the algorithm in the future. They already are.
